Jupiter Marketplace Terms and Conditions
For clarity, Jupiter is a marketplace e-commerce entity that provides a technology platform to facilitate transactions between buyers and sellers and does not own or control inventory of Products.

Definitions
- 1.1 “App” means the Jupiter mobile application.
- 1.2 “Jewels” means reward points issued by Jupiter under the Jewel Terms & Conditions.
- 1.3 “Marketplace” means the feature within the App that facilitates purchase of Products offered by Sellers.
- 1.4 Order means a confirmed purchase request placed by a User for a Product.
- 1.5 Logistics Partner or Fulfilment Partner means any third party involved in storage, packaging, dispatch, delivery, or reverse pickup.

Scope and role of Jupiter
- 2.1 Jupiter does not manufacture, sell, own, or stock Products listed on the Marketplace.
- 2.2 Product descriptions, images, specifications, and warranty terms are provided by Sellers.
- 2.3 Jupiter facilitates the technology platform, order processing, and coordination for payment and logistics.
- 2.4 Sellers are solely responsible for the quality, safety, compliance, authenticity, and legality of Products.

Eligibility
- 3.1 Marketplace access and eligibility to purchase may be subject to criteria determined by Jupiter, including account status, risk controls, and Jewel eligibility conditions.
- 3.2 Jupiter may restrict access to specific Products, offers, or payment options for operational, compliance, or fraud-risk reasons.

Purchase options and Jewel redemption

4.1 Users may purchase Products using one or more options made available
by Jupiter from time to time, which may include:
- redeeming Jewels to pay the full price of a Product;
- redeeming Jewels for a portion of the price and paying the balance through other payment modes enabled on the App; and
- paying the full price through other payment modes enabled on the App.
- 4.2 Where partial Jewel redemption is enabled, the maximum percentage or value of the purchase price that may be offset through Jewels for any Order will be displayed at checkout. Such caps may differ by Product, category, Seller, offer, or user cohort.
- 4.3 Eligibility and redemption requirements for each Product shall be determined by Jupiter and shall be governed by the Jewel Terms & Conditions.
- 4.4 Jupiter may modify the applicable Jewel redemption caps, eligibility criteria, pricing logic, and supported payment modes at its sole discretion from time to time. The caps and options displayed at the time of Order placement will apply to that Order.

Pricing and availability
- 5.1 Availability information is displayed on the Product page and may change without notice.
- 5.2 Adding a Product to a cart does not reserve availability or pricing.
- 5.3 Dispatch and delivery timelines shown on the Product page are estimates and not guaranteed.
- 5.4 If a Product is incorrectly priced or listed due to system or Seller errors, Jupiter may cancel the affected Order and issue the applicable refund.

Order placement and confirmation
- 6.1 An Order is deemed confirmed only when the App reflects an Order confirmation status.
- 6.2 Jupiter may decline or cancel any Order prior to dispatch in case of suspected fraud, misuse of Jewels, stock unavailability, or operational or regulatory constraints.

Shipping details, consent, and communications
- 7.1 Users may provide delivery details for themselves or another recipient.
- 7.2 The User confirms that the shipping information provided is accurate and that they have the right to share such information for delivery purposes.
- 7.3 By checking the consent box and placing an Order, the User authorises Jupiter to share necessary Order and delivery details with the relevant Seller and logistics or fulfilment partners for fulfilment of the Order.
- 7.4 Delivery may not be available for all pin codes. Users must verify serviceability before placing an Order.
- 7.5 Order status, dispatch, and delivery updates will be sent only to the mobile number and email registered with Jupiter irrespective of the delivery recipient details entered.

Dispatch and delivery
- 8.1 Delivery is undertaken by the Seller and or its logistics or fulfilment partners.
- 8.2 Jupiter is not liable for delays, non-delivery, mis-delivery, or loss in transit beyond its reasonable control.
- 8.3 If delivery fails due to incorrect address, inability to contact the recipient, refusal to accept, or repeated failed delivery attempts attributable to the User or recipient, the Order may be treated as closed and may not qualify for return or refund.

Cancellation

9.1 User cancellation
Orders cannot be cancelled by Users once placed unless a limited pre-dispatch cancellation option is explicitly enabled on the App for a specific Product or category. -
9.2 Cancellation by Jupiter
Jupiter may cancel an Order at any time prior to delivery due to stock unavailability, operational constraints, partner issues, suspected misuse, technical errors, pricing errors, or regulatory reasons. -
9.3 Refund on cancellation
Where an Order is cancelled by Jupiter, the User will receive a full refund of the Jewels and or other amounts, as applicable, used for that Order.

Returns and refunds

10.1 Return window
Users may raise a return or refund request within 48 hours from delivery confirmation. -
10.2 Eligible returns
Only Products received in a damaged condition are eligible for return, subject to verification. The User must retain and return all original packaging, tags, accessories, manuals, and any items included with the Product. -
10.3 Approval discretion
The final decision to approve or reject a return or refund request rests solely with Jupiter based on verification and applicable Product conditions. -
10.4 Refund timeline
Where a return is approved and the return pickup is completed, Jewels redeemed for the Order will be credited back within 3 to 5 business days from the date of return pickup completion. -
10.5 Product-specific terms
Certain Products may have specific return or refund terms displayed on the Product page. Such terms will apply in addition to these terms.

Warranty and after-sales support
- 11.1 Jupiter does not provide any warranty.
- 11.2 Any warranty, service, or after-sales support is provided solely by the Seller or manufacturer as per their terms. Users must verify warranty terms before placing an Order.

Safety and hazard disclaimer
- 12.1 Products may involve operational, electrical, or usage risks depending on their nature.
- 12.2 Jupiter shall not be liable for any injury, property damage, safety incident, or consequential loss arising from use, misuse, installation, or handling of any Product.

User obligations and prohibited conduct
- 13.1 Users shall not misuse, manipulate, or engage in fraudulent practices relating to Jewels or Marketplace transactions.
- 13.2 Jupiter may suspend Marketplace access, reverse benefits, cancel Orders, or take other appropriate action where misuse is detected.

Platform disclosures
- 14.1 Jupiter will display information relating to return, refund, exchange, warranty, delivery and shipment, modes of payment, and grievance redressal as required for a marketplace e-commerce entity.
- 14.2 Sellers are required to provide accurate pre-purchase information including total price, country of origin where applicable, return and refund terms, delivery and shipment details, and their grievance officer details, which may be displayed on the platform as required by law.

Grievance redressal
- 15.1 Users may contact customer support through the chat function on the App for Marketplace-related issues.

15.2 Jupiter has appointed a Grievance Officer for compliance under
applicable laws including the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules,
2020, and will display the name, contact details, and designation of the
Grievance Officer on the Marketplace.

Address: - 15.3 The Grievance Officer will acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month from the date of receipt of the complaint.

Limitation of liability
- 16.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jupiter shall not be liable for defects in Products sold by Sellers, quality issues, warranty issues, delivery failures attributable to Sellers or logistics partners, or any indirect or consequential losses.
- 16.2 Jupiter’s maximum liability for any Order shall be limited to the value of Jewels and or other amounts, as applicable, used for that specific Order.

Offers
- From time to time, Jupiter may offer benefits for using the Marketplace. All offers will be governed by their respective terms as displayed on the App in addition to these terms.

Changes to Marketplace and these terms
- Jupiter may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Marketplace or any Product listing and may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Marketplace after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law and jurisdiction
- These terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer law rights and remedies available to Users.
