Making Money Simpler: Discussing Financial Health with UNSGSA, Queen Máxima & the Jupiter Community

We were delighted to welcome Her Majesty Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, in her role as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Financial Health (UNSGSA), along with representatives from the United Nations, for a special interaction in Mumbai on 23rd June 2026.

As UNSGSA, Queen Máxima promotes the financial health of individuals and communities globally. Her discussion with Jupiter users was part of her official country visit to India, during which she engaged with the government, private sector, and financial sector authorities to identify challenges and opportunities to strengthen the financial health of Indian households.

The session focused on financial health and how digital innovation can help people better manage their money and improve their financial wellbeing. The interaction brought together a select group of Jupiter users who shared their personal experiences with the platform. Queen Máxima and the visiting representatives spoke with users about their financial journeys, the goals they are working towards, and how digital tools have helped them build better money habits.

The conversation was friendly and engaging, with users sharing real stories from their lives. They spoke about becoming more organised with their finances, saving for important goals, starting their investment journeys, and feeling more confident while managing money.

Our founder, Jitendra Gupta, shared the vision behind building Jupiter and the need for simple, innovative financial products for a digitally evolving India. He spoke about our mission to make money management easier by helping people save, spend, invest, and make better financial decisions. During the session, he also demonstrated the Jupiter app, giving visiting representatives a closer look at how Jupiter helps users manage their financial lives.

Users shared how Jupiter has helped them better understand their spending, organise their savings, and take more confident steps towards their financial goals. Many spoke about how tools like expense tracking, Pots, and investments have helped them build stronger financial habits over time. Users highlighted how having the right tools and visibility can help people make better everyday decisions with their money.

We are grateful to Queen Máxima, the UN representatives, and our users for sharing their perspectives and being part of this meaningful engagement.

At Jupiter, we remain committed to building simple and intuitive products that help people take better control of their money and build a stronger financial future.
