By accessing the Mutual Fund Investment Platform (“Investment Platform”) available through the Jupiter App, powered by Amica Investment Advisers Private Limited (“Company”, “We”, “Us”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by the terms set out below.
Amica Investment Advisers Private Limited is:
• Registered with the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) as a Category-1 Execution Only Platform (EOP-0005) for facilitating investments in Direct Mutual Fund schemes.
• Registered with AMFI as a Mutual Fund Distributor under ARN 352049 for facilitating investments in Regular Mutual Fund schemes.
The Company facilitates investments in mutual fund schemes and other investment products through the Investment Platform.
Direct Mutual Fund Investments
For Direct Mutual Fund investments, the Company acts solely as a technology and execution platform.
The Company does not provide investment advice, recommendations, research reports, portfolio management services or distribution services in relation to Direct Mutual Fund schemes.
Investments in Direct Plans are executed directly between the investor and the respective Asset Management Company (“AMC”).
Regular Mutual Fund Investments
For Regular Mutual Fund investments, the Company acts as a Mutual Fund Distributor and may receive commissions, brokerage or other compensation from AMCs in accordance with applicable regulations.
Investors acknowledge that commissions and distribution expenses are embedded within the Total Expense Ratio (“TER”) of Regular Plans and may impact overall returns when compared with Direct Plans of the same scheme.
KYC and Transaction Processing
You authorize the Company to use your KYC information, including identity details, PAN, address, signature and other information available in KYC records, for transaction processing, validation and regulatory compliance.
For offline transaction requests requiring physical signatures, the Company, AMC or Registrar and Transfer Agent (“RTA”) may rely upon signatures available in KYC records for verification purposes.
You agree to promptly update any changes to your KYC information. In the event of unavailable, outdated or illegible KYC records, the Company, AMC or RTA may request additional verification or reject the transaction request.
Mutual Fund Risk Disclosure
• Mutual Fund investments are subject to market risks. Please read all scheme-related documents carefully before investing.
• Past performance of any scheme is not indicative of future performance.
• The Company does not guarantee any returns, assured returns, capital appreciation or capital protection on any investment product made available through the Investment Platform.
• The value of investments may fluctuate based on market conditions, economic developments and other factors beyond the control of the Company.
Investment Decisions
Investors are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability of investments based on their:
• Financial situation
• Investment objectives
• Risk appetite
• Liquidity requirements
• Investment horizon
Nothing available on the Investment Platform shall be construed as investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any security or mutual fund scheme.
Any calculators, projections, analytics, dashboards, indicative returns, insights, research summaries or similar tools available on the Investment Platform are for informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute investment recommendations.
Information Accuracy
The Investment Platform may display NAVs, historical returns, ratings, rankings, scheme information, research summaries and other content sourced from AMCs, RTAs, exchanges, data vendors or other third parties.
While reasonable efforts are made to ensure accuracy, the Company does not warrant the completeness, reliability, timeliness or accuracy of such information and shall not be liable for any loss arising from reliance on such information.
Third-Party Services
The Company does not warrant, endorse or assume responsibility for products or services provided by:
• Asset Management Companies (AMCs)
• Registrar and Transfer Agents (RTAs)
• KYC Registration Agencies (KRAs)
• Banking partners
• Payment service providers
• Other third-party service providers
Any transaction between the investor and such entities shall be governed by the terms and conditions applicable to those entities.
Source of Funds Declaration
By making an investment through the Investment Platform, you declare that:
• The funds invested belong to you and originate from lawful sources.
• The investment does not violate any applicable laws, including anti-money laundering regulations.
• You have not received any rebate, incentive or consideration prohibited under applicable regulations for making the investment.
Availability of Platform
The Investment Platform is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure or error-free access to the platform and shall not be liable for interruptions caused by technical failures, maintenance activities, telecommunications disruptions or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Privacy
The Company may collect, process and share personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
Information may be shared with AMCs, RTAs, KRAs, regulators, banking partners, payment partners and authorized service providers for transaction processing, servicing, compliance and grievance handling.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses arising from:
• Use of the Investment Platform
• Investment decisions taken by investors
• Market fluctuations
• Delays or failures by third-party service providers
• Technical disruptions or data inaccuracies
Amendments
The Company reserves the right to modify, amend or update this Disclaimer, Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions or any content available on the Investment Platform at any time without prior notice.
Continued use of the Investment Platform shall constitute acceptance of such modifications.
